Laughing is good exercise. It’s like jogging on the inside. ~ Kurt Vonnegut
King Solomon of the Bible, said to be one of the wisest men to have ever lived stated that “a cheerful disposition is good for your health.” If you’ve studied Buddhism at all, you know a little about the enlightenment of the laughing Buddha which symbolizes the extraordinariness of the ordinary life. These wise men obviously knew something about the amazing force that laughter plays in our health – physically, mentally and spiritually. Laughter, like milk, does the body, mind and spirit a world of good. If you find yourself not laughing enough, take yourself to a movie, spend a little time with a kid, do something to change your perspective. You’ll be surprised just how much your outlook on life starts to change. Laugh a little…you’ll be glad you did!
Tonight I celebrate laughter and all its healing powers! Cheers y’all!
